Strategy

Mariani Energy Group’s development focus is in three major markets for the distributed generation of solar energy with projects ranging from several hundred kilowatts to tens of megawatts.

Commercial, Industrial, Institutional Projects:
MEG works with utility customers to determine the optimal size and technology for solar energy generation on site. Our approach is to strike a balance between maximizing renewable energy production when the retail TOU rates are highest and offsetting the most expensive portion of our clients on-site energy demand. This holistic energy optimization delivers the lowest cost and highest quality energy solution for our clients.

MEG utilizes both building integrated and ground mounted PV and CPV technology for these projects. We focus not only on the electrical components of the system but equally on the system monitoring and metering. Our comprehensive approach delivers exceptionally designed power plants that perform not only upon commissioning but also during the operating lifetime of the plant.

Municipal Oriented Projects:
Partnering with municipal utility districts, MEG provides a range of capabilities from project management oversight to the development of municipal power plants.

Utility Scale Projects:
At the larger end of project scale, MEG engages with our clients and partners to develop distributed generation plants to feed into utility electric grids. These projects typically range from 1-20MW and take advantage of utility feed in tariffs and Renewable Energy Credit (RECs) allocations. Utility scale projects are located in areas where the price of energy is high thus providing a tremendous cost savings to the customer
